About Hartland Bridge
The longest covered bridge in the world. Crosses the Saint John River in New Brunswick. Locals resisted building it, then it was so popular a second lane was added. The covered design protects the wooden deck from snow and rot. Over 100 covered bridges exist in New Brunswick.
