About Kintai Bridge
A five-arch wooden bridge over the Nishiki River. Built without nails using metal clamps and interlocking joints. Destroyed by floods multiple times and rebuilt each time. Last rebuilt in 2004 after typhoon damage. One of Japans three most famous bridges.
