About Manhattan Bridge
Designed by Leon Moisseiff who later designed Tacoma Narrows. Carries subway trains, cars, pedestrians, and cyclists. The arch and colonnade on the Manhattan side were designed by Carrere and Hastings. Often overshadowed by the Brooklyn and Williamsburg bridges.
