About Si-o-se Pol

Bridge of 33 Arches over the Zayandeh River in Isfahan. Built by Shah Abbas I. Serves as both bridge and weir. A teahouse runs under the arches. The reflection in the water creates perfect circles. One of the finest examples of Safavid bridge design.
