About Bridge of Sighs

Connects the Doges Palace interrogation rooms to the prison in Venice. Built of white limestone with stone bar screens. Named by Lord Byron - prisoners would sigh at their last view of Venice. You can walk through it on the palace tour. Lovers should kiss under it at sunset for eternal love.
